Sort of. If the flame goes out, the clicking (Pizzo lighter) will start and continue. The fridge will not light unless someone pushes the by-pass button (as the flame sensor in the compustion chamber goes cold).

I do not have the stock AC/DC/propane buttons, Mine broke so I just put in 3 toggle switches. Mine is a 91 Canadian modle Westy.

I'd suggest that some day when you have nothing better to do that you take the fridge out and clean out the entire propane line, right through to the the orifiace in the computstion chamber. My van's fridge not lights on ONE click (at least with the combustion chamber apart). Malcolm
