So then you need cabinets to store all this neat stuff..... For the life of me, I don't see how anyone could put up with using a Vanagon as a daily driver. I did it back in the 80s, but now there is so many better vehicles out there. If mine wasn't a full Westy, it would be outta here. The stove and fridge are the best thing about it. I leave 90% of my camping stuff in there all year round. I guess if you like 17 mpg commuting to work, go ahead. Why deal with the parking garage issues? I jump in the diesel Jetta and go. 40 mpg to work, darn near 50 mpg on the highway. Jay

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, you can find all sorts of nifty 12v cooking gear at a really good boat shop. I was in a Boaters World shop in Bradenton FL looking for rustproofing spray when I came across coffee makers, blenders, toasters, hot plates, skillets, and I swear I saw a 12v microwave. Tons of cool stuff. And, most important, some of the nicest cup holders you'll ever see. (You can shop at boatersworld.com.) So get some plastic tubs and a 12v microwave and make your own westy. ;-) Bill Marshall 85 GL Tiico "Pandora's Box" Aurora, IL
