My 7th (non-running) car is an 88 VW Fox Wagon. It was a great car (cost $8700 new I believe!) I had some rust under the passenger side firewall that I was warned about in its last inspection...unfortunately the critters ate the wiring on it and it molders now in a field in WV. The Fox was fun to drive well furnished for such a low end car and got good gas mileage. I really liked the styling of the wagon (2 door wagon that only VW seems to have made..thinking back to the days of the squareback.)
