Why? I was so impressed with the same engine in my 82 Westfalia , I had to
have the car too. 155,000 miles and still running strong

Looks like a lot of us drive Jettas.  I'd bet a lot of the rest drive
Rabbit/Golf, 80's Honda's, MGBs, etc..  So how about an impromptu poll?
