I suppose This Old House routinely installs them as part of a garden shed rehab, but I never saw a lift other than in a place like Gomer's Garage. Or was it Goober's? I did know a hell of a good electrician who had started out as an auto mechanic. He had a small farm and was always restoring or maintaining one sort or another wheeled contrivance, so when he built a four bay garage, he put a pit in one of the bays. He said it was the one of the best things he ever did. George |
