Good evening all. I have a 86 GL automatic ( i call it bread box because it is a big box that i throw my money in) I have a question regarding the exhaust pipe ( the one from the exhaut manifold to the cat converter ) It looks like several repairs have been made (welding on this pipe missing flange on manifold where it supposed to bolt to the pipe) A friend has given me a replacement pipe and manifold and my question is the end that goes to the convertor has the lead donut but bently showes a flat gasket. 26.9 pic 26-560 in the bently . can i use the pipe and manifold I was given or will it require a different pipe or converter?
