Hi Daniel, My guess is that the noise comes from the clutch release bearing - if slightly worn, it will make a "zizz" sort of whirring sound as it slows down from engine speed to rest. Mine has a similar noise, and I don't intend to do anything about it until I have problems engaging/disengaging the gears. Then the engine will come out and I will have a new bearing installed.
