Depends on where you live. If there are rust-free Vanagons available in your area, I'd think hard about buying one with a good body and a bad engine and swapping pieces to make one good van. It partly depends on how much effort you've put into customizing your current van, of course. Essentially, what I'm saying is, figure out what it would cost you to replace the van with one that doesn't have the same problem. Then figure out if the repair will cost more in money and time.
