Yes, i have. I went the easy route, and kept everything 1.9L (afm, in particular - the 2.1 airbox won't fit in without some fabrication). You probably want to keep the 2.1 throttle body, and will possibly have to re-route a couple vacuum hoses for the distributor canister (although your '85 might come the compatible way - my '84 ran stock vacuum hoses differently than i needed).

Other than that, you will have to do a little bit of tuning to trick the 1.9 ECU into thinking that 2.1 is really 1.9 (not too difficult for someone experienced with FI - which i am not).

It is pretty much just a bolt-on switch. I just went through this, so if you have any specific questions, i may be able to answer them for you (or at least tell you what i did :-)
