Yes, the 84 dash and column will fit right into the 87. A minor change was made to the cig lighter socket wiring so you should check that. If they are different just splice the few wires (easy) or move the 87 cig socket into the 84 dash (not as easy). The little light above the glove box may be another minor diff.

Watch out not to damage the black horn wire at the bottom of the column. Unplug it before you get the column too far apart.
