OX2 sensor light is not directly related to anything on the engine. It is connected to a little box down under the front of the van just above the spare tire holder. The little box has a switch and a counter. The speedometer cable passes through it. When the counter in the box says 30,000 or 60,000 miles ---- depending on the year of your van --- the switch is tripped and the OX2 sensor light comes on. Nothing more. It is simply a reminder to see to OX Sensor maintenance (replace). The light nor the box have anything to do with the engine running whatsoever.

There is a button mounted in a detent on top of the black box. Press the button with the tip of a screwdriver and you will hear a little sound and click an the switch is reset. No more light for another 60K. Simple as that.

Can't help witht eh rest of the problems.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
