Most likely your coolant is a bit low, and filled the reservoir as it heated up. Check it when cool - you'll probably need to top it off. If you just replaced the sensor, why do you suspect a leak there?

I started up my 84 today to have the coolant light flash for about 5 minutes before finally turning off (the flashing light there by the temp gauge). There is no way my van was overheated (it hadn't been running).

Any ideas? My sensor that is in my coolant resevoir is brand new with a new o-ring (and is possibly leaking, but not much).

Thanks for any thoughts! Blake St Louis
