When I was stringing my aux wires for oil temp and press. I ran them along the carpet lines inside the van on the driver's side and up to the back engine access lid and fed the wires though one of the AC hose grommets which fed directly to the engine compartment. From there, it wasn't hard to sanitarily string the wires where I needed them. HINT: you might want to run a couple extra wires for future projects and just dead end them somewhere semi-inconspicuous.
