I'd remove both of the cabinets. This sumer I had some water get in behind the cabinets (not being carfull pouring water into the reservoir). I just finished pulling all of the cabinets and I found lots of mold and mildew on the floor boards (between the metal floor and the cabinets. Also a few years ago, I had a rust spot under the rear seat (that had to be repaired) from water getting in under the rear seat.

Removing all of the cabinets is also a good way to get things CLEAN and to spray rust inhibiting oils in the panels behind the fridge. Also you can R&R the propane combustion chamber while the fridge is out. See the recent posts on that subject and I have pictures too.

Strictly speaking one does not have to remove the kitchen unit to remove the rereservior cabinet. But one does have to remove the rear seat to remove the rereservior cabinet.

While you have things out of the van, spray a light film of anti-rust oil on the metal floor of the van in case of future spiolls. If I can be of help. just ask, I've done this several times. Malcolm
