i recieved word about a month ago that there will NOT be a camper version of the new "microbus", "macrobus" or whatever...solely for the reason that vw has severed its relationship with winnebago...or however you spell that. i still suspect that there will be companies out there offering a conversion of the van...hell...i think us on the vanagon list should start a damn company...we have enough germans i'm sure...and i'll be the monkey to put it all together in my 2005 concept westy macrobus. actually...i think i'm gonna stick to my vanagon...in fact i might stock up on a few just in case those dimensions are correct...and also just in case the VW salesperson i spoke with was correct in saying that VW is aiming more for a passenger vehicle...much like the earlier microbus...we love you cleveland...goodnight
