Yes, and they have severed their relationship with Westfalia, too (now owned by Daimler-Chrysler, hence the split). In lieu of using Westfalia, VW plans to produce their own camper conversion on the new T5 chassis for the European market, but no plans have been announced to sell it here. As I understand it, Westfalia (and others) will also offer competing T5 camper conversions in Europe, as they do now with the T4 ("Eurovan"), but they will not be "official VW" conversions. This is quite common in Europe; there are many aftermarket companies there that do Westy-like camper conversions to VW, Mercedes, Fiat, and other European vans (much as Sportsmobile and GTRV do here to Ford vans).
