<DIV>what is going on in my engine that i can smell a huge amount of gas in the oil?&nbsp; here is the story,&nbsp; 87 syncro, has not ran since april.&nbsp; upon start up smoke out of exhuast&nbsp;and weak running.&nbsp; then the smell of gas in the air.&nbsp; i shut her down.&nbsp; the next day there was oil leaking from what appears to be the oil relief valve but can't be too sure since it is all over that general area of the engine.&nbsp; i felt the oil and it was relatively clear but had a major gas smell to it.&nbsp; </DIV>
<DIV>any thoughts? </DIV>
<DIV>i am planning on pulliing the engine anway for a rebuild, so i am not too upset, mostly i am just curious for knowlegde on this</DIV>
