Just thought I'd give the list an update about these racks since it was a
hot topic a month or so ago.  I put a set of these racks on two different
Vanagons last week and they worked great.  Lots of clearance and a good
tight fit.  After 800 miles of hard driving they were still as secure as
when I put them on.  If anyone is looking for a low cost and customizable
roof rack, these are a good choice.
