Subject:      Aux Oil temp gauge wiring

Hi volks, I need some advice or suggestions. I'm wiring in oil temp/pressure
gauges. Putting them on the dash over the ash tray hole. I've got everything
ready to go but after routing one of the wires from the engine to the front,
I ran into just how to access the dash. Trying to find the best/easiest
access for routing the wires to that part of the dash and where to "enter"
the cabin, whether through the front near the radiator or underneath, maybe
up thru the shifting linkage area. Looks like I will likely have to drill a
hole then plug/insulate it after routing the wires through it??
Any ideas or experiences shared will be greatly appreciated.
