<DIV>i drained the oil, put in fresh.&nbsp; i pulled injectors to check for leaks, i followed the procedure, no injector leak.&nbsp; i reinstalled.&nbsp; i started up the 87 syncro, which has not been ran since april, smoked out immediately thru exhuast, smells of gas.&nbsp; engine running strong except for this rattle like a rock in a tin can noise.&nbsp; i am used to lifter noise from my 90 when it has not been&nbsp;ran in awhile, however on my 90 the lifter noise is tight and rythmic before it fades.&nbsp; this noise is extremely loose and no rythym to it.&nbsp; could this be something other then lifter noise?&nbsp; take into consideration, vehicle not ran since april, this is the first it has been started, seems to be running rich, smoke, not blue, from exhaust.&nbsp; there was gas in oil, i have since changed the oil, thought it could be leaky injectors.&nbsp; not sure what is going in here.</DIV>
