Subject: Has anyone installed Digijet FI on a 2.1L boxer motor?

I have a very nice 1985 Westfalia here that runs very well expect that it spits out massive amounts of oil and water out the exhaust system - the motor is basically shot. The FI system is running correctly.

I just brought home a 1986 Single Cab Transporter with a very strong 2.1L wasserboxer motor that I am going to install a TDI motor into. It idles around 2000 rpm so the FI system isn't running 100% and it needs a little work.

I know people have installed 2.1s where 1.9s were, but I think they all transferred over the FI system as well. Has anyone just transferred blocks and not the FI systems?

Thanks in advance!

David Marshall
