Hi,




Last January I took my two oldest sons on a road trip to Key West. This
year My wife, my 11 year old son and I are going to do the same trip. We
stayed just outside KW at Boyd's on Stock Island. While we were down there
someone mentioned that there is a "public" camping area for RVs down near
South Beach. We drove by and it seemed to be a parking lot for the beach,
but the local authorities seemed to turn a "blind eye" to overnight
parking. This year My wife, my 11 year old son and I are going to do the
same trip.


Has anyone ever "camped" there? If so, how was it to camp there?


Does anyone have any other campground suggestions in the Key West area
(give or take 20 miles or so from KW)?
