Ric,

My wife and I have camped at Boyd's many times and found it to be the best location for Key West. We've never stayed at the "public" lot but have been by there many times at odd hours and it is almost always noisy and not what we are looking for. We always take bikes and then getting into KW and Duval street is a snap.
