Anyone have an idea of how much ethanol hastens degradation of fuel lines? I've heard it is not a good thing with certain kinds of rubber, how 'bout the plastic we have?

I've used a 10% ethanol blend of gasoline in Iowa, where it's the standard fuel, for the past 15 years with no bad effects of any kind on any vehicle. Here, it gives you 89 octane for the price of 87, keeps the fuel system clean, and there are no more frozen fuel lines in the winter from water condensation in the system.
