Hi list, About 2500 miles after I installed a new clutch and replaced most cooling hoses and O-rings, a small leak developed at the O-ring between the cylinder head and the thermostat housing. I noticed the O-ring was fairly thin, are there thicker replacement rings? Any recommended sealing compound I could add during assembly? I cleaned the Al head and O-ring groove carefully, but the plastic part showed some degradation. What is the O-ring material - we purchase many different kinds at work (Viton, Silicone, EPDM) and might get one if I knew size and material. Many thanks, Wolfgang 79 'Buggy' 88GL 'Brazos' 02 Jesitta |
