About my page (that will move soon!) http://www3.sympatico.ca/huotx/bleeding.htm Since then, i did a few bleeding (about 8), 6 on 2.1 & and the rest on 1.9 The 2 last 2.1 i did: I didn't raise the front! At all!!! Both where water pump replacment. The only difference we saw was that both engine were running a bit hotter for the first 10/20 miles. Another small "front" and "rear" bleed fixed the small oveheat problem, some air was still stuck inside the system on both van. After a day or 2 both van were running at normal temp, needle at about half gage. This is just a comment, i still think that if you have some ramp available you should raise the front. Regards, Ben Disclaimer: Am no "pro mechanic" by all means. My site is just a suggestions site. Am no better than the very friendly and competent mechanic that work at the dealer... The dealer is your "best" and friendly neighbor, he will do whatever he can to help you for a very moderate fee, only a few 1000$, no more. If he make a stange face when he see's you comming it's because he is happy to see you, not because he hate your beautiful van. |
