Plenty of bulky items are sold on Ebay on the plainly stated condition that they must be picked up. Often the selling price is low because of this. Do you prefer that items like these seats just end up in landfills instead of at least having a chance of finding a new home? The seller sold these seats for $1 because they are hardly worth the time, effort, and cost of shipping. I hope John's efforts to help do not come to naught after Chris hears how much they will cost to ship. Mark Drillock Mark Tuovinen wrote: > > John, thanks for helping Chris out. You are right that it will require some effort. I am sure that Chris understands what he is asking of you and that it will take a little time to arrange. As for the seller, he/she has no business listing items on E-bay if they are not willing to ship. There are over six billion people on this planet and most of them do not live close enough to(or even know where) Marion, Mass. is to pick up merchandise. If you are going to sell on E-bay you should be prepared to ship the item, at buyers expense of course. > > Enough said on this subject, lets move on to more important discussions. > |
