Hello out there,
Recently purchased a '85 Vanagon Transporter. Having an awesome time with it but had a few questions for any helpful enthusiast. Firstly and most importantly, the sliding door is extremely difficult to seat and open. I'm assuming the door has to be realigned. In my attempt to access the rollers/sliders, I was unable to remove the rail cover. Tried to pop it off several different ways but stopped short in fear of inflicting damage. Is there a trick to removing this panel?? Also, any advice regarding realignment would be much appreciated. Also, being without an operating manual (does anyone know of one printed online? Yes I am a cheap bastard), can anyone tell me: n How to operate the rear windshield wiper and washer? n How to reset clock? n Why the passenger side rear view mirror does not adjust so the driver can use it?
Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.
