The trick is you'll need a "complete" engine, including all the tinware and fuel injection parts. Most engines are not sold this way, so you'd probably need a donor aircooled van to take the stuff out of. You'll also need the exhaust and all the heater parts; they're different for obvious reasons. There's probably other stuff I'm not thinking of, but those are the first obstacles you'll have to overcome.
