Clean any grounding surfaces from the fan motor to the body. Run power
directly from the battery to the fan. No go it's the fan motor. if it
works, put a voltmeter (VOM) between the hot lead and ground (at the
motor) and turn on the fan switch. You should get a voltage there that
varies with switch position. (not sure what V as it will depend on the
resister in the multiposition fan switch.  No voltage look upstream.
Try again off the back of the switch. Still no, trace the power lead
back until you find the break in the circuit.
