IIRC, not all the seats are the same. My old 82 had HORRID seats - not front support and w/ the vinyl I'd almost slip out of them. The captains chairs in my 90 Carat, however, are absolutely wonderful. They fit my 6'3" frame nicely and give redally good support to my legs and lower back. The headrests are next to useless for me but napping isn't a problem - just walk to the back, pull out the bed and catch some Z's.

Before dropping some $$ on replacements, I'd check out a set of captains chairs and see if you like them better.
