Volks,


Just to let everybody know, you cannot tow a unplated vehicle on a tow dolly
without a transit from your local DOT  (throughout North America at least).
I attended the local U-haul on a Saturday and was refused a Tow Dolly becase
the vehicle was not plated.


Apparently the rule is that if the two back wheels are on the ground, you
have to have the vehicle plated plated.


All worked out well though, as they rented me an "Auto Transport"  platform
car trailer. Very smooth ride, easy load/unload.


Now I have a $yncro re$toration project, to my wife's great dismay ;~]
