I had the same idea about upholstery. I'm sure you could find someone down there to do it, cheaper than in the U.S. I've had my windows tinted down there, good job, cheap ( minimum wage is .65 an hour ). While your van's being done, get a cabbie to take you to Adelita's in the Zona Rio. Auto work isn't the only thing that's a bargain in Tijuana!
