There is nothing better than vanagon owners talking speed related smack. Did I wake up in some parallel universe?

Hoo boy that was one good post Dave. If I weren't in Texas I would have to bring on the pain in my 84 with it's stock 1.9. Ok I would probably have to downshift to third just to make it up the banked turns. Back to reality. I have a whole weekend set aside to work on my van and I can't wait.

Happy Friday volks.

Hi All; So who's going up to the tip of the Finger Lakes in New York to run their busses around the track? I'm looking forward to taking my Tiico powered High Speed European Racing Bus out on a real Nascar track. And the campground at Watkins Glen is one of my family's favorite. We'll be in the Mohawk Village. I'm taking off on Friday ASAP ( kid's school, etc.) heading West out I-90 from the Boston area. Describe your vehicle and I'll look for it. I'll be in a standard ( looking ) 1983 Ivory ( yellow ) Westy with a small wooden ID under my left taillight. Which is all you'll see at the racetrack. Now all I have to do is figure out where to put all my camping equipment, about 1/2 a ton the way we camp, while I run 'er around the trac.-- and how to talk the wife and kids into riding with me!
