I am thinking that merely racing Westies around a race track would not be tribute enough to the unique capabilities of our campers.

I think it would be better to sponsor two person racing teams. One person would be obviously be the Westy driver - charged with getting the van through the race on its tires [ and not its roof....]

The other team member would be given a fry pan, two eggs, four blades of grass, some pepper and a small rock.

Whoever finishes the race in the shortest time with no third degree burns and the nicest omelet wins.

And tell the Porche owners they can go BUY brunch. :OP

Hi All; So who's going up to the tip of the Finger Lakes in New York to run their busses around the track? I'm looking forward to taking my Tiico powered High Speed European Racing Bus out on a real Nascar track. And the campground at Watkins Glen is one of my family's favorite. We'll be in the Mohawk Village. I'm taking off on Friday ASAP ( kid's school, etc.) heading West out I-90 from the Boston area. Describe your vehicle and I'll look for it. I'll be in a standard ( looking ) 1983 Ivory ( yellow ) Westy with a small wooden ID under my left taillight. Which is all you'll see at the racetrack. Now all I have to do is figure out where to put all my camping equipment, about 1/2 a ton the way we camp, while I run 'er around the trac.-- and how to talk the wife and kids into riding with me!
