Whatever. You know I am right. I have shipped parts across the country, on my dime, for people who could not find what they needed. I sent people Westy interior pieces when they couldn't find them locally, and I had one in my back yard. All I asked was they make a donation to their favorite charity. I have gotten stuff from people, I have offered to share stuff with people. I have sent people things with no regard for how they are going to pay. Others have done it for me.

This is different. This person lives in the middle of Vanagon Heaven (or hell, depending on your viewpoint). This person will survive until he finds the seats locally. But no, he needed to get them cheap, and relies upon the good will of the list to complete something he shouldn't have bid on in the first place. That I find goes beyond helping a listmember out and borders on imposition.

That said, good for you. Good for Chris.

And a TR-4? Anyone who knows me knows I had a Sunbeam.
