Hi Matt, This is a frequent problem with older Vanagons. Your filler neck has a small diameter flexible rubber fuel line that takes the overflow from the filler neck into the tank. After 15 years or so, this fuel line is perished and gets blocked inside, even though it looks like new from outside. Renew this flexible line and your problem should go away. Best of luck. Tony |
