If you are definitely interested consider ordering it on Monday. I've seen some other info that indicated the offer ended on the 15th instead of the 30th. I think they are going to honor the 30th since this announcer evidently didn't understand the details and said the 30th. He also didn't seem to understand that the offer was not for listeners but salespeople. However, the YAHOO SIRI board has many, many postings of people that have gotten in on this offer. That is where I heard about it. I used the announcer's name as my referral last week and they didn't question it at all.

The Audiovox has a wireless FM transmitter in the car docking station so you won't need an FM modulator. If you have a Westy, check the June archives for my posts on antenna installation options.

Once we added the cost of the head, antenna and service (Kenwood was giving away the decoder) it cost too much $$ for my tastes. But if the equiment can be fre then I can deal w/ the subscription. > > Actually, the goal was to find a head unit that we could plug the iPod into, but we decided to save the $$ and just live w/ the FM modulator. At least now we'll have halfway decent radio to listen to!! > > john
