What a crappy week, the bus had been running rich for a few months, so I thought that putting an O2 sensor in it would help my issues. (I haven't had one in about a year) It actually made it run worse, so rich it was burning my eyes and diluting the oil with gas. So we unplugged it, but it's still doing the same thing.( I know this is extremely bad and plan on doing a oil change, and spark plugs before I drive it again. ) It is also bucking and feels almost like cruise control picks up and slows itself down, loss of compression (probably from oil dillution), lack of power. I changed the Temp II sensor, no change. We did every test in the book on the fuel pressure regulator, vaccuum, fuel pressure, etc, and it's fine. Upon doing tests to the air flow meter, it definitly isn't working right, but before I spend the money on it, I'd like to see if the censes thinks that might be it , I don't know what else to do. It's my daily driver ( for 2yrs now) and has never given me this many issues. My BF is letting me use his car for the time being, but I can't use that forever. Also does anyone have an AFM? I will post another post on that though...... thanx, Tracy 85' GL "Ripple" 65' Splitty |
