The joke was probably uncalled for. It sounded funny at the time, but I regretted sending it later. I'm just trying to make some people aware of an unpublished free offer for the new 2nd generation equipment. Several people that I haven't copied the list on seem to be happy finding out about it. The offers aren't supposed to be public knowledge but the salespeople leak them to their friends and word gets out. This offer exploded in their face since the word mainly got out when a DJ told some people on his mailing list who told others. I'm just trying to pass on the info to fellow listmembers who can read it or trash it. I'm not parting out a van, but I'm not a nob selling viagra either. I like the service, and think others will also. My family and friends and the vanagon list are the only ones I've told about this offer. Some like hearing it, some don't. They are still family and friends either way.
