Subject: Temperature Sensor Resistance in AFM
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi folks,

My van has been a bit hard starting lately, so I went at it with my multimeter today to try and track down any problems. What I found was that the resistance across the Temperature Sensor (the one in the AFM) was only 1300. Bentley spec is 2300 - 2500. Could this be causing my rough start and slight lack of driving power problem? If so, is replacing the entire AFM the only option for fixing the problem? Finally, if I do that, how do I set the CO adjust screw?

Thanks,

Greg. 82 vanagon
