When they are cold don't they get extra fuel from the fuel injection system? So when they warm up, the excess fuel is reduced. If you have an air leak, a vacuum leak in you intake components, the engine will get too little fuel, too much air and won't run. Check your intake boots etc?

You could have looked at your plugs to see if they are fouling or if they are brown instead.
