Yeah, I think there's no gasket and yes they fill up with water A couple weeks ago I realized my left front parking light wasn't working. The turn signal worked fine... took the assembly off and it was half full off water and one of the contacts was rotted completely off.

I ended up soldering a wire on to the bulb so it would work until I figure out a better fix...
