Hi Jesse

According to Bentley, you should read continuity on the idle valve. (mine is reading 4.4 ohms, I don't know if it is continuity for Bentley). The idle valve good be sticky with a continuity reading.

The idle valve buzzing seems to be a bit tricky. When the motor is running, I cannot feel the idle valve humming. However when I turn on the ignition key (without starting the engine) I can feel the idle valve humming for 10-15 seconds.

I put 12 Vdc on my idle valve and the valve open and close as soon as the power is removed.

I cannot help you on the seal. Have you checked if the small purple tube is connected to the throttle gas assembly.

Germain
