Bummer about the head gasket, maybe.

The hose. Try the bus boys. I do not recall the web address but it is not busboys.com that is the musical group. The music is great but you want to hear a diesel rattle.

As to the head gasket. Having someone else do it might be expensive. Not because it is difficult but because taking off all of the manifolds are time consuming. If you do it your self it is not hard just a pain. The most expensive part is the stretch head bolts. While you are in there might as well replace a few parts like the timing belt and tensioner.
