Ben - Can you clarify what you mean by "some syncro owners can get away without the raised deck". Not all of them? And would the same apply to the other Overland kits as well? Thanks, Doug Fitz-Randolph Freeport, ME '90 Syncro, '86 Pritschewagen

This -clears a major hurdle for many of us and permits a completely -transparent installation and smog procedure. In addition, we've just -fabricated 6 rear deck covers for the Westy. You can now have our raised -deck, vertical engine mounting, and open your closet too. Of course, -some syncro owners can get away without the raised deck. - -Questions and comments should go to : - -Ed Hernandez @ vanagon@overlandparts.com - -Thanks, - -Ben Zlotkin
