Hi Zolo,

Yes, they are slow, except the versions with the 6-cylinder
2.5 litre turbo diesel. They are also very unreliable, very
prone to rust and hardly have any VW feel ... they were a
joint venture with M.A.N., a truck manufacturer.  (MAN =
Machinenwerke Augsburg-Nuernburg).

The current VW LT is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter small
truck/van with VW five-cylinder Diesel engine and modified
front end styling.  I don't think M.A.N. are involved this
time.
