i guess you havent seen others pics of the RF window mounted unit. obviously its designed to be used plugged into 120v current from a campground or whatever. if i can walk on the luggage rack (i weigh about 185) then it can support a 60 lb small a/c unit. like i said, build a cradle it rests in and strap it down to the tie downs. ive seen other people carry all kinds of stuff up there..firewood, lockboxes, you name it.. chris
