<P>Check if your speaker wires are running over or near a 12V power wire. They should not. Make sure if you have an in-line fuse for power that the wires are good and tight going in and out. Dealt with this problem myself. I had the loose 12V power wire at the fuse. Good luck</P>

<DIV></DIV>>I have installed my Jensen 600W amp in my 85 Westy and am having problems
<DIV></DIV>>with whining noise during engine acceleration and a loud "POP" from the
<DIV></DIV>>speakers when changing radio stations. I have tried installing both a
<DIV></DIV>>ground-loop isolator (to the RCA plugs) and an inline noise filter ( on the
<DIV></DIV>>12V + wire) independent of each other. the GLI kills the amp's power but
<DIV></DIV>>eliminates the acceleration whining. The inline noise filter makes the
<DIV></DIV>>whining worse. Both cause a loud "POP" when I change stations. Anybody have
<DIV></DIV>>any suggestions??
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>-Thanks
