<div align="left"><font face="Courier New"><span style="font-size:10pt">Possibly related to this, later today I received an email
purporting to be from Paypal, but which originated from a
dialup IP, which stated that my PayPal account was chosen for
a random audit, and to follow the enclosed link to verify my
account. The link was designed to look like a PayPal.com
address, but included html escape codes to actually take it to
another site, likely designed to attempt to hijack your
browser. (fortunately I don't save passwords, nor use IE, so
am likely safe from such attacks).</span></font></div>

better use of English, and the site looked authentic. (I

<div align="left"><font face="Courier New"><span style="font-size:10pt">It's interesting that "Daniel Clark" never once contacted me
via his cs.com (Compuserve) email address, but chose to use
the EBay and Paypal messaging services to contact me. It's
also interesting that the scam message came via
compuserve.com... Coincidence? Perhaps. But I've cancelled my
credit card to be safe.</span></font></div>
